This is so sad.
With the internet and today's means of communication, it's quite easy to come across a lot of people's lives nowadays. Just look at this website, forums, etc....
This year I truly came to realize how fucking spoiled children are. I see them complain because all they got was a laptop</b> and an IPod</b> for X-Mas. Complain because they only got 5 PS3/Xbox 360 games</b>. Because ALL the got was 500$</b>. Because ALL they got was a list longer then my arm which was ridiculously expensive, but they didn't have the Wii they asked for (nm the PS3, laptop and blackberry from that list). And they DARE call their parents cheap</b>?!
When I was a kid, I was lucky if I got ONE Sega Genesis game. The biggest presents I ever got during my childhood were a Sega Genesis for my 12th birthday, a VCR and a cat for my 15th Christmas. Oh, and a cd/cassette Radio when I was 13 I believe. The rest were small things. A cd here, a game there and clothes. Usually no more then a 100$ in cash, or they helped me pay half of my train tickets to visit my best friend. Makes your list look like a millionaire's gig, don't it?
STOP COMPLAINING! ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE! STOP BEING SO SELFISH AND SEE WHAT YOU HAVE, NOT WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE!
I swear, I'll work my hardest to make sure my child NEVER turns out that way.
